Hmmmm... Red Velvet

It's always been a habit of mine to open Yahoo every time I check the internet - just to keep myself updated about what's going on around the Philippines and the world. Today, Yahoo had this article about Red Velvet cupcakes as one of Pinoy's Top Food Fad, and that it was first introduced here by Sonja cupcakes in Manila.... and they are just heaven on earth!

I mean not only is their Red Velvet the real deal but so are their other flavors. I wished they'd open a branch here in Cebu though.

They're not only tasty but they have this cute packaging.. very nice color combination with the chocolate brown logo sticker on pastel blue box.

Summer Cooler

Summer is almost at an end and I just recently took a liking with Quickly's Taro Ice Special. Yum! I've had this drink when I was still in high school but for some reason didn't like it then. Now, if I'd get a chance to go to the mall, I can't help but get myself one.  There are only two drinks with sago that I like, and that's Zagu (melon) and the Taro Ice Special. If I were to choose among the two, I guess I'd go for the latter because of its more "healthier" ingredients. ;)

Copycat ;)

I was scanning pics in my laptop when I came across the inspiration behind my wedding's invitation cover. I just googled for invitations one day and saw this contemporary card. I decided right away that this should be the look of our wedding invitation.

Of course I did not copy the whole thing hehe. I revised some stuff here and there -changed the color, since our color was tangerine, pink and gold. Also changed the couple into chibi versions of me and my husband and voila!
This here is the graphic file...

The real thing.

Did a different chibi version this time of the couple kissing for the 3rd insert of our invitation as well ;)

Horribly Corny But Funny Video

While looking around some blog sites, came across this You Tube video that I just had to share!

In fairness, nice effects and acting skills haha..

My Art Life

I have always been into drawing ever since, and after I graduated college with a major in Interior Design I landed a job right away as a Ladies Designer for Loalde. It was really an interesting job, and it taught me a lot, especially since I was still new then with Adobe Photoshop and etc...
At present I'm into Visual Display at the Metro Stores. It still requires Photoshop and other related creative softwares. And right now, I find Google Sketchup very useful in creating window displays. Really very easy to use and doesn't hang your computer, especially if your running a slow one like mine.
This one I did through Photoshop..

This one I used Google Sketchup, which is really useful since its easy and your designs could be scaled and its 3d of course..

What's great about Sketchup is its free... you can download through this link:
